Today Year 6 went on a trip to a Buddhist centre. During our trip, we did a meditation task. Meditating is all about relaxing the mind and focusing on one thing (we were focusing on our breathing.) We have also been doing mindfulness in class as well. We learnt that there are loads of types of meditating, such as relaxation, focusing on one thing and more. While meditating we also heard about the singing bowl. We also had to have good posture during the meditation task,hands on knees, back straight, shoulders relaxed and crossed legs.
